The species
proved oligophagous: adults and larvae fed almost exclusively on Mentha spicata, M. piperita and
Melissa officinalis, removing 85–92 % of leaf area within 48 h, whereas feeding on Tanacetum
(Asteraceae) occurred in ≤ 6 % of encounters. Behavioural trials and chemical assays revealed the
release of cardenolide-based defensive secretions and a thanatosis reflex, confirming an efficient
anti-predator strategy. A total of 285 participants were included in the study, divided into age groups: 6–10, 11–14, and 15–17 years. An analysis of the prevalence and frequency of migraine attacks, as well as neurological status, including impaired coordination, autonomic dysfunction, and cognitive-emotional impairment, was conducted. The results showed that migraine is more common in girls, especially during adolescence, with an increase in attack frequency and the severity of neurological
impairment with increasing age. Girls demonstrate more pronounced autonomic and cognitive impairment compared to boys, which requires careful monitoring and early prevention. The data obtained highlight the need for personalized approaches to the
diagnosis, monitoring, and treatment of juvenile migraine, as well as the development of regional guidelines for Uzbekistan.
Shadmanova Lola Abdujalilovna , Gaziev Ilkhomzhon Muydinovich Copyright (c) 2025 Asian journal of multidisciplinary research 2025-11-05 2025-11-05 2 8 56 63 KNEE JOINT CONDITION AND QUADRICEPS FUNCTION IN PATIENTS AFTER MENISCECTOMY: CLINICAL, FUNCTIONAL, AND MORPHOLOGICAL ANALYSIS http://ajmdr.com/index.php/ajmdr/article/view/77
This article presents the results of a comprehensive study of knee joint condition and quadriceps function in patients after meniscectomy using clinical, functional, and instrumental methods. We analyzed the relationships between pain levels, muscle strength, range of motion, functional status, and morphological changes in articular cartilage based on MRI data. The study included 164 patients after partial or complete meniscectomy and 68 healthy volunteers in the control group. The study included 132 patients aged 18 to 60 years who had undergone partial or complete meniscectomy. Pain was assessed using a visual analog scale (VAS), quadriceps strength using a handheld dynamometer, knee range of motion (goniometry), and functional status using the Lysholm scale. Thirty-two patients additionally underwent MRI to analyze the condition of articular
cartilage. Statistical processing included correlation analysis (significance level p < 0.05). It was found that patients after meniscectomy had significantly higher pain levels (4.8 ± 1.2 versus 0.8 ± 0.6 points; p < 0.01), decreased quadriceps strength (−24.5% of normal), decreased range of motion (118.6 ± 8.3° versus 135.4 ± 4.7°; p < 0.01) and worsening functional indicators
according to the Lysholm scale (78.4 ± 6.5 versus 95.2 ± 3.1; p < 0.01). Significant correlations were found between pain level and quadriceps strength ( r = -0.62), cartilage condition and muscle activity ( r = 0.55), and between pain and cartilage tissue condition ( r = -0.58; p < 0.01). It was concluded that the condition of patients after meniscectomy is determined by the combined influence of pain syndrome, muscle failure, and morphological changes in articular cartilage. The main determinants of rehabilitation
effectiveness are quadriceps strength, pain level, and the structural condition of cartilage tissue.
Latipov Ulmaszhon Shaikhiddinovich Yusupov Shukhrat Abdurassulovich Copyright (c) 2025 Asian journal of multidisciplinary research 2025-11-05 2025-11-05 2 8 64 73 MORPHOLOGICAL ASPECTS OF HUMAN LIVER HEPATOCYTES IN CHOLESTASIS http://ajmdr.com/index.php/ajmdr/article/view/75
As is well known, many liver diseases are accompanied by jaundice, which manifests itself to varying degrees. During 2021–2025, specimens were collected in Fergana, Andijan, and Namangan provinces using light attraction at night (DRL 200/150) and daytime hand-netting; morphological identification, trophic observations, and calculations based on Simpson indices were performed. In total, 21 species representing 17 genera were recorded. Of these, Erebinae accounted for 67%, Arctiinae for 20%, Lymantriinae for 10.4%, and Boletobiinae for 2%; superdominant species were
Dysgonia algira (20.4%), Tyta luctuosa (13.6%), and Grammodes stolida (10.1%). Simpson indices were C ≈ 0.093 and D ≈ 0.907, indicating high population diversity and low dominance.
