METHODOLOGY OF APPLYING INTERACTIVE METHODS IN TEACHING THE TOPIC “THE CIRCULATION OF MATTER AND ENERGY IN THE BIOSPHERE”

This article highlights the methodological foundations of applying the cluster method in teaching the topic “Cycle of matter and energy in the biosphere.” The importance of the visual and graphical approach in the systematic explanation of biogeochemical cycles and energy flow processes occurring in the biosphere is analyzed. It is substantiated that the cluster method increases the level of students' understanding of the metabolism, trophic levels, and the interrelationship between producers, consumers, and reducers. It is noted that this approach serves the formation of systemic thinking, the identification of cause-and-effect relationships, and ecological thinking in students.
