FROM OPERATIONS TO EDUCATION: HOW LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT TRAINING SHAPES COMPETITIVE ADVANTAGE
Abstract
In an increasingly competitive global market, organizations are recognizing the strategic importance of logistics management as a driver of operational efficiency and competitive advantage. This paper explores how logistics management training
and education contribute to organizational performance by enhancing leadership competencies, strategic thinking, and operational decision-making. The study examines the relationship between logistics education, workforce development, and
sustainable competitive advantage. It highlights the role of experiential learning, digital technologies, and industry–academic collaboration in shaping modern logistics training programs. The findings suggest that organizations investing in
logistics education develop more adaptable, innovative, and resilient supply chain systems. The paper concludes with recommendations for integrating logistics education into corporate strategy and higher education curricula.
