Abstract

This article examines the theoretical and practical foundations of developing reading literacy in primary education. Particular attention is given to the essence of systemic and reflective approaches, as well as their role and effectiveness in the reading process. A comparative and critical analysis of traditional, developmental, and interactive teaching methods is conducted, highlighting the advantages of interactive techniques in enhancing reading literacy. The findings indicate that the integration of systemic and reflective approaches plays a crucial role in fostering learners’ independent thinking, metacognitive skills, and intrinsic motivation.
