PEDAGOGICAL POSSIBILITIES OF STEAM TECHNOLOGIES IN ART EDUCATION

Abstract

The article examines the pedagogical possibilities of applying STEAM technologies in art education. The integration of science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics in the process of teaching fine arts is analyzed. It is shown that the use of the STEAM approach contributes to the development of creative and research thinking, interdisciplinary knowledge, and practical artistic skills of students. Particular attention is paid to the role of drawing, painting, and color studies in the formation of professional competencies of future fine arts teachers. The possibilities of using digital technologies, project-based activities, and interdisciplinary teaching methods are also considered. It is noted that the implementation of the STEAM approach increases students’ motivation, expands
artistic learning tools, and contributes to the formation of an innovative educational environment in the system of artistic and pedagogical training.
