THE EXPRESSION OF THE SPEECH ACT PHENOMENON IN ABDULLA QAHHOR'S STORIES
Abstract
Pragmalinguistics is one of the modern directions of linguistics, studying the situation of expression of language means and the various goals arising from this situation. Within this direction, the phenomenon of the speech act is of particular importance, because it reveals the inextricable link between the language system and the text. Speech act units are a linguistic phenomenon that is formed depending on the text and play an important role in increasing imagery in a literary text, enhancing communicative impact, and also expressing the author's speech strategy. This article analyzes the significance of the concept of a speech act in pragmalinguistics and the functions of locutionary, illocutionary, and perlocutionary phenomena in a literary text. Also, based on examples from literary works - stories and tales by Abdulla Qahhor, the pragmatic functions of speech act elements in the text are explained.
