FUNCTIONAL ANALYSIS OF ELLIPSIS AND ANTIELIPSIS IN THE WORKS OF ERKIN SAMANDAR
Abstract
The epic “Gorogly” is one of the most significant examples of Turkic oral folklore and plays an important role in the cultural heritage of Central Asian peoples. This article analyzes the linguopoetic features of the epic “Gorogly”, focusing on its artistic language, stylistic devices, and expressive linguistic means. The study aims to identify the linguistic elements that contribute to the poetic and aesthetic value of the epic text. The research applies linguistic and literary analysis methods to examine metaphorical expressions, epithets, symbolic vocabulary, and syntactic constructions used in the epic narrative. The results show that the language of the epic is characterized by rich imagery, emotional expressiveness, and national cultural elements that reflect the worldview of the people. The findings also demonstrate that linguopoetic analysis helps reveal the deeper artistic structure of the epic and its significance in the development of Uzbek folklore and literary tradition.
