METHODS OF DETECTION AND DIAGNOSTICATION OF INTERNET ADDICTION IN SCHOOL STUDENTS
Abstract
This article analyzes the scientific and theoretical foundations of identifying and diagnosing internet addiction among school students. The widespread use of modern information technologies and the Internet has become an essential part of students’ daily lives. However, excessive use of the Internet may lead to psychological and social problems. The study examines the concept of internet addiction, the factors influencing its development, and its manifestations among school-aged children. Secondary school students were selected as the research object. In the research process, methods such as surveys, observation, psychological testing, and statistical analysis were applied. The obtained results demonstrated the effectiveness of diagnostic methods in identifying internet addiction and revealed different levels of Internet use among students. Based on the analysis of the results, recommendations were developed to prevent internet addiction among school students.
