THE PLACE AND SIGNIFICANCE OF MATHEMATICS IN MODERN SCIENCE
Abstract
This article extensively covers the place of mathematics in the development of humanity, its scientific and practical significance. The historical formation process, main sections of mathematics, and its role in the development of modern technologies are analyzed based on scientific sources. The possibilities of applying mathematics in artificial intelligence, economics, engineering, programming, and information technologies are also described. The article reveals the importance of mathematical thinking in developing a person's logical thinking, analytical abilities, and problem-solving skills. In addition, the role of mathematical education in modern society and its impact on increasing the intellectual potential of the younger generation are discussed.
