Abstract

This article presents the theoretical foundations and significance of the problem-based learning method. It describes the methods, goals, and objectives of problem-based learning. The problem-based learning method was used to explain
topics studied in inorganic and organic chemistry to students. Students' skills and competencies in independent thinking and experimental skills were improved. The essence of chemical reactions and experiments were explained using problem-based
learning. Conclusions were drawn and suggestions were made.
