THE PRESENT AND FUTURE OF THE ARAL SEA REGION
Abstract
This article discusses the causes of the Aral Sea problem, its environmental and social consequences, the reforms being implemented in the Aral Sea region within the framework of the "New Uzbekistan" policy, and the scientific views of foreign scientists on the Aral Sea. The article also presents the author's personal thoughts and observations as a person living in the Aral Sea region.
