STEAM-BASED THEORETICAL AND PRACTICAL FOUNDATIONS FOR TEACHING NATURAL SCIENCES IN GRADE 6

This article explores the theoretical and practical foundations of teaching the 6th-grade “Natural Sciences” curriculum based on the STEAM approach. It discusses interdisciplinary integration in modern education, activity-based learning, and methods for developing students’ creative and analytical thinking. In particular, the study analyzes how the use of project-based learning, experiments, modeling tasks, interactive games, and differentiated assessment tools in lessons can enhance students’ motivation and competence development. The effectiveness of the STEAM approach is substantiated through both national and international sources, and specific methodological recommendations are provided for its application in natural science education.
