English has become one of the most important international languages in education, business, science, technology, and communication. As globalization continues to influence every aspect of modern society, English language teachers are expected to apply innovative teaching methods that improve students’ language proficiency and communicative competence. Traditional grammar-based instruction is gradually being replaced by learner-centered approaches that encourage active participation, creativity, collaboration, and critical thinking. This article examines innovative methods used in English language teaching, including communicative language teaching, project-based learning, task-based instruction, gamification, digital technologies, artificial intelligence, and blended learning. It also discusses how these approaches increase student motivation and prepare learners for successful communication in academic, professional, and social contexts.
