THE ADVANTAGES OF PROJECT-BASED LEARNING IN EDUCATION

Education in the twenty-first century requires students to possess not only academic knowledge but also practical skills such as communication, collaboration, creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving. Traditional teaching methods remain valuable for introducing fundamental concepts, yet they are often insufficient for preparing learners to meet the demands of a rapidly changing world. For this reason, Project-Based Learning (PBL) has become one of the most effective educational approaches used in schools and higher educational institutions around the world. PBL encourages learners to investigate real-life problems, conduct research, cooperate with classmates, and create meaningful products that demonstrate their understanding. This article examines the concept of Project-Based Learning, its principles, advantages, implementation strategies, challenges, and its contribution to improving the quality of education.
