MODERN METHODOLOGICAL APPROACHES TO TEACHING THE MICROBIOLOGY MODULE IN A DIGITAL LEARNING ENVIRONMENT

Abstract

This article examines modern methodological approaches to teaching the Microbiology module in a digital learning environment. It theoretically substantiates the integration of Digital Pedagogy, Connectivism, Blended Learning, Constructivism, Inquiry-Based Learning, Problem-Based Learning, and Experiential Learning with virtual and real laboratory activities. An integrative methodological model is proposed to enhance students’ active learning, research skills, practical abilities, digital competence, problem-solving capacity, and reflective competence. The study provides methodological principles and recommendations for organizing competency-based Microbiology education through digital learning resources and virtual laboratories.
